Located at Via Sassari, 45, this family-run establishment is a culinary delight that promises a memorable dining experience. The warm atmosphere and welcoming service immediately draw you in, making you feel right at home.
One of the highlights of Pulcinella is their dedication to traditional cooking. The menu features an array of stone-baked pizzas, expertly crafted with fresh ingredients. Each bite reveals a perfect balance of flavors, showcasing the authenticity of Italian cuisine. As Mark Jackson mentions in his review, this quaint pizzeria, though slightly off the beaten path, is a favorite among locals and offers a fantastic range of pizzas at reasonable prices.

The dough, as noted by Derick Villas, is amongst the best in Italy, promising a delightful experience with every dish served.
And let's not forget about dessert. The tiramisu here is nothing short of legendary, often declared by diners as the best they have ever tasted. This sweet ending perfectly encapsulates the love and passion poured into every dish at Ristorante Pizzeria Pulcinella.
While the restaurant is known for its limited seating due to a single stone oven, it adds to the charm of the dining experience. The efficiency and warmth of the service make it well worth the wait, allowing guests to fully enjoy the art of Italian cooking in a cozy setting. With thoughtful recipes and a commitment to quality, Pulcinella is indeed a “five-star quality” restaurant waiting to be discovered.

“ This was one of the best meals we’ve had in Italy. I wasn’t expecting much as it was in a small town on our way to Naples and everything seemed to be closed on Palm Sunday. We had the meat variety plate which was marinated and grilled so perfectly. The calzone was delicious. The squid was cooked just right and was tasty. And the side dishes were packed with flavors. Even the bread was fresh and delicious. To top it off, the tiramisu is hands down the best tiramisu I have ever tasted. This is a family run business and the service is just fantastic. I don’t understand why the rating is 4.2. This restaurant is 5 star quality. ”
“ One of the best restaurants we had on our road trip. Steak was seasoned well. Squid is decent. Sausage was packed with flavor from the mix grilled plate. The dough from the Calzone is one of the best in Italy I have had. ”
“ A nice little pizzeria making stone baked traditional pizza, just outside the center of town, so it looks like, popular with those who know, and with people who live nearby. Well worth a visit though as they do a good range of pizza at a good price. Only downside is they only have the one oven (stone baked pizza) which makes it tricky with larger groups, but they manage it will. ”
